I need some help. I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 for awhile now, and Alien Swarm (New to it, anyway) and their both incredible games. However, I'm having some issues with the Frame Rate. I need to lower it, but I can't figure out how.

why the hell would you want to do that

FYI a higher frame rate is good.

You lower the settings as far as they can go and force the game to run in DirectX 8 or 7.
