Author Topic: Reading Olivier Twist.  (Read 1068 times)

Yeah that's right, Oliver Twist. Apparently my school thought that everyone would go onto their computers, find the class they're in, and then find out that we had a summer reading assignment, without sending letters home. So now, 2 weeks, (Yes,I have 2 weeks left) before school starts, I have to read Oliver twist. I in no way tend to show off, but if this was anyone else, they'd be forgeted. I have a fast typing rate that gets me astonishment from anyone who watches me type. I'm sure most of you do too, and I can also read nearly as fast. However I read at the rate the story would want to progress, and have a vocabulary to match the time the book was created.

Any hints about Oliver Twist for when I have to do a project/test?

It's a good story, Everybody should watch or read it atleast once.
Although it does remind me of terrible school plays i did in primary school.

Go to wikipedia and read the summary.

Read it all night long :O

I read it, I liked it.

Never really got into books.

Never really got into books.
especially when it doesnt have an occasional picture so i know what the hell i am imagining

I just don't like sitting still for long periods of time

I have a hard time sitting still in a chair reading a book. I could turn on the tv, but then I would get distracted. If I'm in a car going somewhere I have little to no problem at all.

Surely it can't be that hard to read Oliver Twist in 2 weeks? I read the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy in 3 days. That's longer.

Edit: Then again, I hadn't discovered Blockland at that point in my life :-)

How did you find out? :o

How did you find out? :o
I agree.
That is also one wierd school is all the people there WANT to find out they have work to do. I try and avoid it at all costs. I suppose it is a free world, albeit a world with school present as a minor psychopathic destructive technique used to ruin the lives of some and brainwash others into becoming successful. The rest play Blockland.
