Again 2 more colors for every color in your color set means, now we don't need dark and light colors, so bigger color sets, more extra colors.

FX Mirror =
-snip-
Pretty sure that mirror bricks/paint is NOT possible, if they are you suggest them, in a topic about them, this is about the soften and darken FX, anyone have any idea how to make them?

i said before, fx mirror is possible, but it will mean widespread smap, lag, and crashing. also if you piss a noob of in your server with out banning, he can come back and crash it by putting two mirrors faceing each other.

FX mirror would be terrible on older, and even some recent computers. It would also result in a high amount of server crashes.

The FX lighten and FX darken ideas are brilliant, and I believe they can be done. I want this. :3

Yay :D

If someone made a FX mirror it would need to not render other mirrors.

I say that there should be just a simple rendering distance for all mirrors (Use RTB prefs?) And a simple raycast function could be used when a mirror brick is planted or paint added to check that the mirror is not facing (Or is not in the rendering distance) of another mirror.

I agree that the darken and lighten FX is the main point of this topic, so I approve of Lighten/Darken. As a suggestion may I add that if you make this, an idea would be that if you spray the brick longer it will become more light/dark, then there would be a third that removes the effect (Or FX none?).

Why do you need lighten/darken? Just use a darker/lighter color.

Here are some Ideas I thought of.  Color adjusts the color.  Shape adjusts the Shape/movement of the brick.  State adjusts color and shape.  ShapeL Adjusts the Shape, but the lighting will affect the brick.

(Color)   FX Fade    >>  Makes the brick Darker.
(Color)   FX Tarish   >>  Makes the brick Darker in the sense of the oppsite of Chrome
(State)   FX Scratch  >>  Makes the surface of the brick scratched up.
(State)   FX Damage  >>  Makes the brick appear dented and have a few chunks missing.
(Shape)  FX Vibrate     >>  Makes the brick appear to vibrate.
(ShapeL)  FX RollX          >>  Makes the brick roll on the X-Axis.
(ShapeL)  FX RollY            >>  Makes the brick roll on the Y-Axis.
(ShapeL)  FX RollZ             >>  Makes the brick roll on the Z-Axis

That is way to many FX's.

If we had the FX to do this we could have (in theory) more colors without effecting colorsets.

Hi future.
