The DrenDran guy is a real starfish.

2GB is your average, in my opinion. This is based on the general amount of RAM people normally use, or what computers generally come with. Not your expensive gaming computers that have 2TB hard drives, 1GB graphics cards, and 3.5ghz+ CPU with at least 4GB of RAM and a blue LED light in the transparent case you use to show off your design. BASTARDS.  :cookieMonster:

4GB is the only established norm because its what is recommended for gaming computers, however this is a NETBOOK we're talking about here.

Option A or Option B?

I have 1GB, which is about as low as you want to go. I have a Compaq Presario laying around with 256mb RAM. :o

I would go for option B, I think having a dual core processor is important if a program ever starts freezing up.

I don't know what the graphics card was, but my mom got a dual core, 2.3 ghz processor with 4 gb ram, for $400 (not including tax) at Office Max. I can't find the computer on their site, but it was from lenovo.

I have 242 gb out of 281 gb.

Thats hard drive space.

Please know what you're talking about before you post.

Yeah, I'm thinking it'd be more necessary to sacrifice the next gen ION for a better CPU.

The only problem is that its sold out at the moment, ffffff-

I constantly have less than 2GB available of HD space...
... I don't delete files, just move 'em. Can't do that on 80GB partitioned into two sections.
