I have a mac, and whenever I join a server with this mod, when loading the LegendSpellsL1-15/arrow.dts it will freeze up and say: Blockland downloaded a file but couldn't write to disk. Do not run the game directly from the mounted image.
I've had this problem before, but then I switched to windows. Now i'm back on mac :(

Do you have textures enabled? You might have to disable it.

Don't join that server. Easy. That add-on is horrible and the host is stupid for running it.
