Author Topic: Blockland v17 AutoUpdater  (Read 1370 times)

When I open Blockland, it links me to the download page. Is there any way I can auto update so my add-ons will remain?
I can't dig through add-ons to find all the important ones.

Does the blockland installer still have the keep old add ons thing?

If you use the auto-updater like it's meant to be used then it won't be a problem.

Anyway, even if you download the 44mb file (7mb update...), the first thing that comes up is the attached pic. I downloaded it manually because I wasn't on Blockland when I found out about the update, and just ticked all the boxes.

So my answer is really:
Why did you make this topic?

That is a question, not an answer.

Rename your Blockland folder to BL V16 back-up. Install V17. Move over save/add-on files as needed.

If you're on a mac, there is no auto updater.  You must redownload and copy whatever files you want over manually.

If you're on windows, un-forget whatever security software is preventing the auto updater from working and then use it.  Or download the full v17 and install over top of your current installation - it should keep our old crap if you check the right boxes.
