Author Topic: Non-Shielded Bricks  (Read 502 times)

What I mean by "Non-Shielded" is that you can build around them directly. So, if you used a brick in this shape: -|, you could build in the gaps between them.

No first post for you. :D

you can do that on the tree brick

you can do that on all bricks i thought, for the corner L shaped bricks you can, for the tree you can, for ramps i think you can, for arches you can, for rounds there's nowhere to build in them, so you can, what are you asking for?

that you can build in the spaces in the sections of it like a ramp you can put another ramp faceing down for lego ness or something

i was under the impression that you could

Every brick has to take up a squarish or rectangular space on the static grid. L bricks take up an L shape, so you can build in their spaces. However, ramp bricks take up a full square. No other brick can exist in that spot while that ramp is there, even if real-life physics should apply there. It's easier to see if you turn rendering off on a ramp brick. To fix this, it would require an engine change, which would be stupid for other reasons.

A square is a rectangle

rectangular prism i think you guys mean

the wire frame is always a rectangular prism, that doesn't mean there arn't spaces you can build in it, ie, with the corner L brick, it has a 2*2*3 wire frame, and i thought you could build in the ramp, one plate of it you could build in i thought
