Is that "intal" any good?
Don't bother with the sound card.
You're spending a lot of unnecessary cash on the parts.Oh, and make sure you're buying from a .uk site if your english or a .ie if your irish. Because if you try get something from america in england, you're going to be spending around $500 on shipping.. which isn't worth it.Get a computer magazine and search up the parts you really want; then with the extra money you saved, get either a gtx 470, or if you can strectch it again, get 2 gtx 460's and use SLI.
I doubt otis does that.I however, do, and I find it very useful!
I was using a figure of speech. And whether anyone does it or not is not the point. The point is he's criticising me for something I don't know, as if I am an idiot if I don't know it.
You sure are an idiot if you don't know something and still comment on it.
I didn't comment on it. I was asking if it was good or not.
In between all this butthurt could I just ask... should I get win7 and have to spend the extra money or put ubuntu on this bitch?
I have the Antec 902 and it's a great case for cooling but the process of cleaning the filters is a pain in the ass. If the filters are a priority for you I recommend looking into a case with a better filter solution. To change the filters you essentially need to take both side panels off and then unscrew about 16 screws to remove both hard drive cages. It gets tedious after a while.
How often do you clean them? Cleaning filters isn't that big of a deal for me, personally. One agreement I made with my parents if we end up getting this computer is that I perform all maintenance on it, internal and external, with which I'm fine.
I clean them every two weeks or so. It's just something to know is all. I've looked at other cases that have had simpler filter solutions that don't require the case to be partially taken apart.
