Worked for me, only I had to get a new hard drive as it stopped working :/

I did, i have to buy a new laptop. It ruined my everything.
Just unplug your computer, plug it back in, restart, and before it reaches the Welcome screen, press CTRL ALT DELETE like there's no tommorow. Then it should open Taskmanager. Click on the "thinkpoint.exe" or "hotfix.exe" and click end process.
