Author Topic: I can't buy anything on Steam  (Read 2124 times)

When I try to purchase it gives me the following:  Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After reviewing the information below, if you believe your card has been declined in error please try your purchase again.

My cards not declined, though

Edit: This has been going on for a LONG time.

You don't have enough money; The company hasn't updated the page yet and it looks like you'd have more money then you actually do right now.

You may have a limit on how much you can use on your card, thus it is not accepting your card if you go over it.

For how long? If it wasn't long ago this started, your credit card number may have been stolen and put onto another card by an untrustworthy employee at a restaurant, store, or other establishment.

I'd check with your credit card company if this is case.

I has enough money, it hasn't been stolen, i'm able to buy other things than Steam products.

Steam clearly doesn't want to accept your card, I had the same problem with my old Visa card, it was unrecognised.

Best thing to do is contact Steam Support and alert them of the situation and see if you can get it resolved.
