Yes, i know this sounds wierd, but just do it. I remember reading a story about a kid with a similar situation to yours in which he nearly lost his eyesight in the end due to a fly larvae eating his retinal tissue.

Actually, once I had a strange bug in my eye. My dad took me to the doctor cause I told him my eye hurt a lot, the doctor said I was fine. But he noticed a strange bump and he got it out.

Oh, it turns out to be stye. Go look it up on wikipedia if you want. Basically a small dot of skin is on my eyelid and it feels like there is always something stuck in my eye. I've had it before, it's fixed with eyedrops.

AHA!  My parents never figured out why that happened to me!  I thought it was sand when I was little.
