Author Topic: Notepad alternative - Mac OS X compatible :?  (Read 1019 times)

I want to begin scripting, and I need a program which can make .cs files (preferably free)
So far, I've tried BBEdit, TextEdit, SubEthaEdit, and something else.
Help! I really want to start.
Also, don't pull any of that "there's your problem" bullstuff.

Notepad++, or Torsion.
If they have a MAC version of Torsion, I highly suggest you buy it.
Notepad++ if you're on a budget.

Thanks, I'll try out Notepad++. I found one called TextWrangler which is the "best alternative"

Hm, maybe "SimpleText"?

It comes installed on Mac OS by default. Just change the extension to .cs when you save it. Duh.

I don't appear to have it.

Found one that can make .cs files. Locking.
