While it'd be a pretty cool idea, I dont see anyone pulling this off in the near future. Too much detail from the looks of it, but a level with floating islands would be pretty cool.

The only way I can think of doing this is with some sort of modeled objects that have a separate mesh inside them for building. But that's gonna get ugly like the planets map.
