I want an addon that gives all weapons limited ammunition and the only way to get more is by using addammo events or killing other players. The mod should be able to be enabled from the minigame menu and instead of players dropping their items they drop ammo from the weapons they were holding in their inventory.

There actually is an ammo feature integrated into Left 4 Block which could easily be used to make a standalone add-on if Rotondo gives permission of course or if someone makes one by scratch. The problem was that the ammo mod only worked if the weapon was built for the feature. If not, ammo won't work on the weapon. And not a lot of people make their weapons for the ammo feature but people might start doing so if an ammo standalone add-on was released.

Dunno, think it might be a month or so.

All I know is that the beta kicks ass, though there are a few problems.

Gravity Cat's weapon set and the Tier+Tactical beta both have ammo functions, though both are pretty different. I myself prefer the system within Tier+Tactical, though it's still a little buggy.

Yet, there are some ideas that when I know how to code, I would like to implement myself.

I don't know if there's much you can do about it, but when you get more ammo the ammo display doesn't update until you fire or change weapons. There was also one time when the ammo in use went to -1 for some reason, and when you run out of ammo, the ammo display shows a negative number of remaining rounds. Also, the ammo display on the slam shotgun seems a little borked, it shows up only when it feels like it.

Also, the spinning ammo idea isn't exactly all that good.
If I were you, I'd have some ammo standing up straight, for good looks in some builds, or down, to give it a little bit more realism.
and that LR rifle is okay, but for it to reload like a shotgun would be nice.

Not all LR rifles HAVE to be brown. And I like the color it is.
