Author Topic: A Fix for the Brick Edge  (Read 793 times)

i notice on some of the longer bricks, the edge part is longer than on a short brick, example, 16*1*1 next to a 1*1*1

I think he means the texture, look closely at the side of the bricks, you can't notice it as much on the 1x1, it's more noticeable on the brick below it

shall i zoom it in a lot for you guys...?

This happens with me as well.

It's your point of view making it look funny.

even just walking by at other angles does this

Yes I can clearly see it in the picture, but I've never had that problem in game.

it's the texture being streched out and if you want it fixed badspot will have to make a bunch of new textures

After intense testing of three minutes I found out that the brick textures are stretched if the texture quality are set to low or minimum in the options and they are screwed up at medium. So if you want lovey brick textures, use high or best. Below be screenies.

Texture Quality: Low/Minimum

Texture Quality: Medium

Texture Quality: Best/High

my settings are all on high/best besides physics, which i think is off like i normaly have it

Textures stretch.  Tell me one game using transformations for textures does not stretch.

minecraft? :D
not really i guess, but sorta, since blocks are 1*1*1 on the grid, then there's a door, 1*1*2, and it doesn't have stretched textures :D

Your game is broken, reinstall.
