Author Topic: Old Western Weapons and a Money System  (Read 1460 times)

I need some old-style western-type weapons and a buy menu with a money system for a game I'm making.
I need:
Bowie Knife (extra 5 for $8) (starting gear)

Remington58 (extra 1 for $15) (starting gear)
S&W Schofield $18
Colt Peacemaker $22

Winchester 1866 $25
Colt Lightning $30
Sharps Rifle $40

Remington 12 Gauge $24
Sawn off shotgun $27
Winchester 1897 $33

Gatling gun turret $53

And some misc. gear like:
Boiler plate (like gcat's vests only it's a boiler plate) $15
Scope (for the Sharps rifle) $15
Ammo belt (Doubles ammo count) $10
Dynamite x5 $10
Molotov roostertails x5 $10

You also start with $20, you get between $1-10 for killing someone, you don't drop all your cash when you die and there are money pickups around the map.

Well, you could start off by finding all the existent weapons on your list.  Right now there is a pretty good sawn-off shotgun on RTB that you would be interested in. Then you maybe learn VCE for the money system if there isn't one present.  Just a suggestion.

VCE is good for those kind of things, but annoying at times as you can't use any onVariableX if you haven't spawned for at least 2> seconds (or something appropiate to that value).

Hey, I was thinking about western weapons the night before!

The gatling gun wasn't till after the west was basically almost gone forever.

Nevermind I was thinking of the browning maching gun.

Yeah, you get the Gatling gun turret in Smokin' Guns, it's like a gun that you operate by turning a handle like a jack in the box, only it fires the gun and it has a big assed mag on top.

It's just mentally impossible for me to learn VCE, it's just too much to learn and it's far too complicated for me.
