Does your motherboard have the correct PCI slot?

It needs a PCI Express 2.0 Slot, and it can function in a PCI E 1.0, but it will probably function 85% worse then it would if it was in the correct slot.

Also make sure your PSU can handle it.

I just went from nVidia to Radeon recently, and I miss some things about nVidia already ;c.
