I don't know if any of you remember this game but if you don't know what it is i'll tell you

star trek armada is one of the best RTS games ever it was a early activison title before call of duty

the best part of the game is the combat
in battle any part of your ship can take damage(like in star trek) example, You are taking hits and your weapons go offline and you are unable to fire until they are repaired

the only bad thing about the game is that if you have a new nvidea card you have to apply a fix for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55G-sAJmFNg

It was one of my favorite games for the longest time. I also loved how easily modded it was. I was mainly a guy who wanted the texture packs for realistic ship feel. Still have my discs even if I don't really play it that often.

The faction I played most was the Borg. Simply awesome especially when the tactical fusion cube came into play. >:)

I remember playing this ages ago and it was simply awesome. Even though I didn't know a lot about star trek back then (I was what, 8 years old?, and I still barely know anything about it) it was tons of fun.

Agreed. it was Starcraft for the Trekkie Soul.

IF you have never played it you would not know how good it is,

and its better then starcraft 1.

Starcraft and Armada had their own appeals that made me enjoy both, but I will choose Armada over Starccraft simply because I'm a Trekkie first.

its a great game overall im surprised more people don't play it with gameranger
