Author Topic: FINALLY, A PHONE THAT DOESN'T loving SUCK  (Read 549 times)

My contract says I'm due for a hardware upgrade.

From this piece of stuff.

What am I choosing between?

Other ordinary phones.

Or two Smartphones I can get. Help me choose one!

CHOICE A: SAMSUNG WAVE

Deets:
  • It's thin
  • It's kinda sharp looking
  • Comes with some bullstuff OS that I don't want
  • looks kinda ugly imo
CHOICE B: LG OPTIMUS CHIC

Deets:
  • Comes with motherloving ANDROID, finally
  • Doesn't suck
  • Kinda thick but it's simple and I like it

dat poll. choose one for me. I'm getting it tomorrow.

Do you have to get a dataplan with each one?

Oh, right, thats the thing, I chose these two smartphones because they don't require a dataplan. Just a simple phone plan, but they're still smartphones.

My friend Lexi has the Chic, its a pretty nice phone.

I hate both of them though because they lack a physical keyboard.

Get the droid because it's obvious you don't want the other one.

oh. question.

because the Optimus doesn't have a data plan, will this mean I can't download any apps or anything to it? D:

You can either download the .apk online and drag and drop and install with a program like androzip.

Or you can get 'em over wifi.

The guy from Bell said that mobile web browsing is disabled, but WiFi browsing and WiFi are still enabled and free.

Awesome, thank you Beachass. <3

Yup yup, and if for some reason you can't find the .apk somewhere, lemme know, I have full dev access to the market and can grab any of the apps there.
