Author Topic: I need help with leftism.  (Read 2101 times)

Keep in mind that the Bible also says that he who does not work, shall not eat.  Basically, earn stuff.  That is why I think that welfare should be limited to only a year or so of living off of it.  That would motivate people to get real jobs to sustain themselves.
That being said, communism's ideals are noble but impractical. It just cannot be implemented properly and would require fundamental changes to the way human society functions and the way we behave.
I agree with this part of Inv3rted's post.  In addition to communism's impracticality, the leaders of those countries would be to power hungry.  Communism already gives most of the control of nearly everything, and human nature would cause the leaders to crave more and more power, and then, blam.  You got a crappy country to live in.  Communism already failed Russia, that is why they are capitalist now.  Simply put, communism will eventually fail anywhere it is implemented.

Yes, let's go communist to punish a very small amount of people!

Aaaah please die you give atheists a bad name.

I read through your entire post, and although it was lengthy, I could barely understand what happened and what you're trying to get at.

I am a Christian, and take my faith seriously. This includes actually having read and pondered the Bible, and I'm convinced after reading the Bible that an ideal political model is one that stresses equality, caring for the poor, and narrowing of class disparity. This ends up being essentially communism, but I think an ideal culture is one that wasn't as oppressive as the communist party in say the USSR where the state and enforced religion was atheism.
What.

Its called being in a religion.
His parents have shielded him from such controversial things.
