Author Topic: Making Weapon icons  (Read 2857 times)

You dont NEED a template. Yndaaa doesnt use one. So if you had asked him/her?, it would be the same thing.

Either way, what I just told you would get a UI icon in game on your tools list when you pick up the weapon. If you cannot figure this out on your own I dont see how you could figure blender or milkshape out. I had never used GIMP before I made item icons and I figured it out on my own.

Plus...Common sense. -_-

why me?

Takato14 I say guns look weird to me without the grey circle/Template it is just my sense of taste.

I have it but Takato14 says I don't need it and I'm going to need a accurate size of my gun for icon.

If you dont want the weapon made blurry in Paint.net while resizing, in the resize menu, set "Resampling" to "Nearest Neighbor". I suggest opening up the model in Construct, then screenshotting it and using the white texture to be removed for transparency

I did all that but I just downloaded GIMP I'm not going to download Paint.NET right now.

I understand how to do this whole process,just I don't use paint.net.
I suggest getting used to gimp for more advanced reasons.

Then tell me please how do I move the weapon and get an accurate size.

How about you post the icon here so we can see what the problem exactly is?

why me?
You're the only one I know in particular, and someone mentioned asking you?
And either listen to demian, or send me the render and I'll make it myself for pete's sake.
