Add-ons update IN server?

Good morning...I see the assassins have failed.

I was wondering if there was an add-on where you could update your newly downloaded add-ons without having to actually restart the server. Help anyone?

But I've been in servers where it says server restart in 15 secs. And then it restarts. I never leave and i never do anything but it updates new addons. It must be private.

McTwist's System_LoadAddon used to work. Haven't tried it lately though. It's failed so you need to Google.

There is an addon-loader that works quite good most of the time. BUT it does lag the server quite bad everytime you load an addon, and the lag resulting from loading more than 5-6 addons at once will most certainly make your visitors leave.

There are numerous problems that could happen with that kind of thing. It will only work for certain add-ons. I guarentee that most will screw up when you try to do this, and potentially crash players or the server itself. Especially since the mod-loader was released BEFORE v18, where the new content downloading system was put into place.

Yeah I have it. Errors sometimes but in general is good

McTwist's is what I use, but make sure that everyone isn't on the server when you do load it.
It can get kinda laggy.

When you loaded events, weapons, or vehicles with McTwist's LoadAddon, it would only appear for the host and people who joined after the addon was loaded.

There's a very old add-on (if it was failed, I dont see why, it works perfectly fine) that is System_LoadAddon. I have it, and it works, as I said, perfectly fine. The only downside is that some add-ons lag the server really bad for about 5 seconds while they load.
