Author Topic: Should I sell my XBOX? (read post)  (Read 1951 times)

Sell all your consoles, use $20 of the money to buy a modded original Xbox (seriously these things are like the swiss army knives of gaming) and use the rest to build a PC.

1. i already got a gaming rig bro
2. wait, aren't jtagged xboxes worth alot more? I'll jtag my system and ship it for 200 bucks more.
woo.

It's not really worth selling it, the price you get is so low it's unbeleivable. Even if it's on Craigslist or Ebay.

Just stop paying for live and keep it.

Re-buy live if you ever decide to start playing again.

You mean spending thousands of dollars to have the best running PC only to still lag in most video games and deal with more hackers than xbox or ps3 combined?

For stunning graphics and dedicated servers which in no way can be obtained on consoles stuffty hardware and lack or proper servers.

That actually sounds kind of fun.

Where can I personally get a modded Xbox?

gaming has become a fad. more so for console gamers.

save your money and be hardcore about it. if you enjoy pc more. you will make online pc game friends.
no reason you cant still hang with your friends while they game, or join them split screen when in person.
dont blow your money just to apease others.

as i said about the fad. your friends are hopping games and systems, and expecting you to bandwagon.
be the pc gamer man :D

The only reason I prefer my 360 over my PC at this point is that it doesn't cost me $400+ to replace a part should it break down. I can just buy a whole new system and not have to spend the many months guessing what could be wrong with it, wasting money on this part or that part only to have completely replaced the whole thing before it works again. $1,200 Vs. $300 Yup, I think I'll stick with a console since I'm a broke forget. Not like I have the time to play a whole lot of either these days. *shrug*

How about throw the Xbox off the Grand Canyon? Or maybe shoot it with an Airsoft gun. Someone did it on Youtube, but couldn't find the video.

FPSRussia did it with a real gun.

Worth more, but you shouldn't risk modding it if you have no experience with soldering or console repair. Modchipping a console could really forget it up permanently if you do something wrong.

Also, I was talking about the ORIGINAL Xbox, bro. Those things can be softmodded easily.

Worth more.  As long as you're not a friend that aimbots in CoD.  I remember someone in these forums had a jtag'd Xbox and was an aimbotter.
