L.A. Noire. Portal 2 is a worthless overrated piece of stuff that doesn't deserve half the attention all the mindless forgets on the internet give it is great (apparently) I just wasn't that pumped for it's release as everyone else is. Infact, the day portal 2 came out I pre-ordered Dungeon Siege 3.

So, go with L.A. Noire if you want a long and fun experience and Portal 2 if you want a moderately lengthy explosion of amazement.

Portal 2 is fun until you beat both singleplayer and coop.  After that there isn't much replay value.

Now I'm glad I didn't buy it.  Everyone was playing Portal 2 for the week it came out, then after that I literally see no one playing it at all.

But on the subject of replay value of Portal 2. I want to point out there's achievements, helping other people do coop, replaying for easter eggs and just purely the story again and developer commentary + the DLC coming out soon with new maps and a challenge mode that sounds like you are trying to beat your best time or something. A decent amount of replay value.
