Author Topic: Monocles home studio recording sessions! :D  (Read 974 times)

Hey guys, so I finished up building my studio this morning, I'm only missing my headphones, but I'm currently using my Beats or Skullcandy DJ headphones for it. Anywho! I just figured I'd make a giant post for all of my home recordings that I do, basically anything from tests to full-record releases, and seeing as how most of you guys are starfishs who tear everything apart to the finest detail, I figured I'd post the thread on this forum so that I can get my perfect touches on it :)

And to begin;

June 7th;

It's just a quick vocal test to see how the condenser mic sounds. It's pretty dry and it's not much effort put into it, so the errors shouldn't be taken to heart. And to anyone who cares about what song it is; Baby It's Fact - Hellogoodbye.

Personal opinion;

Need to take allergy meds later on in the day so that I wouldn't sniffle / have such a dry mouth.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, the bitching, all of that stuff in advance :D

<3 all of you.

Note; this will be much like a production blog just to show off my content that I'm producing.

You're using too much aaaair.

I actually bought a vocoder kit which included autotune. I'm working on some electronical / metal / screamo (only band that comes to mind that does it is Attack Attack). If you're down to make some synths, I'm down to collab!

Excellent sound quality but please don't sing again.

Like. A whole song? ;3

If you're up for it. :]

What's with that.

Eek. That's awkward.. That's a picture of me and my ex. :c

Singing isn't your calling. I'm not saying that because I think you're a tit, I'm saying it because it doesn't sound good.

It's not BAD, but it's not something I ever want to hear again.

I love how you failed to read the original post;

This was a simple mic test, notice how there's a full change of spectrum in my vocals, I go from singing moderately high and then lower and then mid.

But anywho, thanks. :)

Then post you singing properly?

I'm working on learning the guitar part for a song as well as rendering the drum track perfectly in this recording program since I don't have an acoustic drum kit at home, so until then it shall remain as such.
