Whoever was in charge of fixing glitches for this game needs to be slapped eleven times. I heard the console version was glitchy and I can usually work through the glitches, like, "God damn that's annoying, oh well," but now Im stuck.
Im working through You'll Know It When It Happens, I recently got the quest from Yes Man telling me to go speak to some Ranger and help protect Kimball when he gets to the dam. I went to the El Dorado substation first to see what I was to do, and placed the chip and got attacked by NCR soldiers outside so that's stupid in itself having two reputation-conflicting objectives for the same damn quest.
Anyway, I reloaded and went and spoke to the Ranger. I told him Id do it and the next day it began. I saw his helicopter thing land and went to inspect it and disarmed the bomb on it and didn't look much more. I listened to Kimball and then suddenly he was shot and killed but none of the Heavy NCRs took action; I talked to one and he even said that he wouldn't let anything happen to the president. I tried talking to the original Ranger, the NCRs in the crowd who were fleeing, I even went on Wikia and read about the Engineer guy and found him but his presence didn't do a damn thing.
I don't know what to do now. :(
