I got linked to the rockpapershotgun article about some game from Notch's twitter.
Here it is.
The game is not yet released (though there is some alpha release :D)
It is about exploring a world.
Just exploring, no building or anything.

The game is cool because the effects have very appropiate music around them.
Overall, this is an ambient game.
If you ever need a game to cool off for a bit, play this game and you'll be cooled down in no time.

I lost my interest at "musical exploration game". I'm not into artsy games.

This game is pretty neat so far.
I was walking around just as it was turning night. There was this thing (the little brown box-like things on the ground) with particles whirling around it. Just as I stepped near it, the day / night cycle drastically increased. Apparently that was the point where you advance.

EDIT: Now I'm in a calm winter land.

The stone seems to transport you to another season and if you stay close but not too close, time is sped up! :D

Saw a firefly in the woods today.
And some really weird mushrooms.

Well that was easy.

Anyhow, they are still developing this thing.
And i allready love to sometimes do this just for fun.

It's not as if i am going to play this 24/7, but it is fun when you have to relax for a bit.
Watching the sun go down, finding weird ass things and listening to the cool dynamic music mixing.
