You're getting confused. The original ones aren't being produced anymore -- those were electronic basic kits produced by Tomy. Kotobukiya got the licensing in about 2005, and they started producing FULLY POSEABLE kits, with much more detail, full inner frames, no electronics, and a slightly larger scale.

That show was spergy as hell not to mention pretty lame.
