oh! my brother had this recently

download combofix and run it

its the only way~

also, im willing to bet your "automatic updates" setting is disabled

I remember a while ago I got a virus on my computer. It was a fake anti-virus called "AntiVir" and it kept spamming me telling me I have a virus. Literally every 30 seconds or so, no exaggeration. It basically shut down every program I opened, including Chrome, so I couldn't do anything about it.

Not only that, but it kept opening IE to researcho.com and viagra.com

After about an hour I had a friend help me with it. I went to a neighbors house, downloaded "HijackThis" onto a pen-drive, and (somehow) ran it on my computer.

Cured :)

also, is it something like xp security 2012? or xp security 2012? or vista security? win7 security? etc

No.

no popups or anything? just a redirect?

Is it redirecting the entire google website (You go to google, you are immediately redirected) or can you search just fine but when you click a result you are redirected?

If it's the entire google website, check your hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) for an entry relating to google, and if there is one, remove it
If it's the search results, I'm going to guess it's CYCbot. A lot of people I know have got it recently (almost me but Avast blocked it) and it did the exact same thing to them.
