Gamestop preorder question.

Since I can't find my exact question with Google, I decided to post here cause I don't feel like messing with another forum. Anyway, I have put some money into a preorder for TES V Skyrim on PS3 at Gamestop. But I got rid of my PS3 and I'm hoping to get an Xbox 360 within the next month. Will I be able to change my Skyrim preorder to Xbox 360 format instead of PS3?

Wouldn't they be able to look up my dads name on the computer or something like they do when I add money to the preorder?

I believe they take your phone number, last and maybe your first name. Just ask to switch it and I'm almost positive everything will be fine. Do bring the receipt though.

... I hope I can do it without the receipt, cause I preordered like 3 or 4 months ago. And I kinda lost the receipt.

and no you dont need to show them physical proof

just go in and say that you pre ordered a game and you want to switch the console you want it on
they will then ask for your info, find your preorder
and change it
