Hey, Not sure if you guys will know, but I'm in need of help for something wrong with Gmod. So while I'm on the loading screen, it loads fine until it trys to load some thing called "particles/fire_fx.pcf", and thats where it stops loading and doesn't do anything. Help please?

Heres your answer: I play GTA4 for about 40 minutes while I leave Gmod to load, and when I come back from GTA4, it still sits there.
And yes I have addons, but I have not downloaded any for a while and the other ones I have did not cause me any troubles before.

Drag all of your add-ons out of your add-ons folder, and then try loading GMod then. If the problem is gone, then see which of the add-ons is making this happen.

Delete the garrysmod folder in steamapps
