Case. Price: $100
Power Supply. Price: $155
Motherboard. Price: $160 <-- I use this motherboard more than any other one when I build computers for customers. Never heard a single complaint. I personally use this one though
Processor. Price: $250
Ram. Price: $100
Hard Drive. Price: $40
SSD Drive. Price: $165
GPU. Price: $500.

Total: $1470.

You can change out the case for this. It's cheaper.

You can also remove the SSD, I just put it there for fast booting of OS, games and your important software (photoshop, cinema4d).

My personal recommendation of a keyboard;

I use it, it's damn near indestructible. I've thrown it against walls, hit it with all my force, stepped on it. etc etc etc.

Can I ask why you do that to your keyboard?
Poor thing.

That laptop isn't worth it, I reccommend this one instead;

Cheaper as well.

My dad has that, he plays Alice In Wonder Land: The Madness Returns on max settings and no lag, and same with NFS Hot Pursuit

Where do you buy that?

My dad got it at Best Buy
Do you think you can order it online?

Where do you buy that?

Most stores have it. I got mine at Tiger Direct for 1300.

I used to compete in DotA and CS:S, so when I'd lose, I'd rage, haha.

I'd be expecting a bit more than a 580 for a build of this price.

Hey, Monocle, can you list the specs of your computer, so I can kinda pick off of it.
Thanks.
Anyways, bump.

So gaming and rendering?

You'll need a good cpu as well as a good cooling system, a good gpu and at least 4gigs of ddr3.

if you somehow love supertasking (500 thingso pen), 8GB.

Alienware isn't that baaad. I always wanted one when I was little, finally got me one and I love it.

Of course it's not my main gaming computer, but I have an M11x because it's small but I can play some of my games when I'm travelling and the keyboard glowing in rainbows is strangely entertaining.

I have my desktop for everything else.
