That's why you're finding it so easy, lol.

I just found an incredibly easy method today if you don't have any explosive barrels around the map. So Fort Frolic has no explosive barrels unless you count the two stuffty frozen ones. I was messing around after I got the crossbow and I found a really nice combination to take down elite bouncers.

What you need to do:

A crossbow with trap bolts equipped, place it down a hall way.

Equip a machine gun with armor piercing bullets, shoot him. He will run into the trap bolts

After this shoot the forget out of him with homing RPG rounds with the grenade launcher.

Then continue to use your armor piercing rounds with the machine gun.

Even on survivor with no explosive barrels around they are still pushovers.

Hmm?

I need both Bioshock games ;_;

And the next game coming next year?

Bioshock has been on sale alot for $5 each on steam would be my best guess.

Gift? I've only played on Xbox, but my new PC should be able to play it easily.

It gets harder later on.

And it's not even a smooth transition, the enemies just randomly start having much more health and much higher damage when you get to Hephaestus.

Get ready now or it will become unforgivingly hard at the end.

Think about it like this: You aren't walking from area to area. You're taking the Bathysphere transportation system far across Rapture. You end up in a much more powerful section.

That sounds like a huge drain of supplies for one enemy. That contradicts that being a pushover.

It's actually not since you can make trap bolts, machine gun piercing rounds and homing RPG ammo.

I have so many inventing supplies I can make enough ammo for a small army. That and each big daddy gives me 100+ dollars, which is more money I can use for ammo.

Ah, they removed U-Vents in BioShock 2. You're more diligent than other users. Survivor doesn't have to mean difficult, it can mean time consuming. If you were the survivor of a boat wreck on an island, you'd be the guy walking through the forest finding vines and making up complex rope traps over time to catch pray. You'd be an easy survivor, but take a lot of time. Us users would die because we wouldn't be diligent enough to consider such methods.

Well I always like to take advantages in Bioshock. Such as the natural cloak that allows me to be invisible for a few seconds, trap bolts, explosive barrels, mines, inventing, back tracking through levels, using enrage plasmid, etc. I also love creating traps in bioshock when I feel an enemy is about to come from behind.

Just running straight through seems like a death trap, that's why I disabled my objective arrow.

I needed the arrow in many situations. We like to have fun when we play, and all that stuff you said seems like a bore. But yes, that'd be how a person should play in Survivor mode. It's just not hard because you know how to do it. It's meant for casual players who are too stupid.

The strategy I use is actually really fun for me. I'm killing enemies left and right with ease.

Not only do I think about how I am about to progress into the next room I also take my time to really enjoy the game for what it is.

So you understand that it's only not difficult because you know how to do it, right? :panda:

i just kept dying no mater what
so i turned it back to medium so i wouldnt ragequit like i did cod4

Well then if it's easier how come people don't play like me?

Because they like a challenge

Because they like a challenge

That's no challenge, it's running into the room like an idiot and then dying. Haven't they learned anything from Call of Duty?

well whatever you want to call it, they prefer it to sitting around making ammo in some stuffhole all day

Three words:  System Shock Two.  Even on easy mode, that game is hard as forget, and it was largely the inspiration for Bioshock.  I know I'm obsessing over it, but it's such a great game, it's hard not to once you've played it.

Well I defeated Fontaine only on my second try in survivor mode. It may have been one of the easiest boss fights I have ever encountered.

I rarely make ammo, but when I do I can make enough for a small army.

By the way they say survivor mode is easier if you rescue all the little sisters but I killed every single one instead.
