Ok I downloaded that App and set my channel so that they dont overlap.

@Packer

I got 4/5 bars on channel 8, 5/5 on 11. Theres a computer in pretty much every room and they all get about 4 or 5 bars. My router and modem are different I think, the cable cord plugs into this big black box and then that has a cord that runs to the router. Idk if thats the modem or not though.
Probably is, 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. That'll access ether the modem or the router depending, if you take the cord thats plugged into the modem to the router and plug it directly into the ethernet port on a laptop or computer and type one or the other addresses in you should be able to access the modem admin menu allowing you to check the status of the net on it and adjust anything relevant on the modem. The best thing to do is run a computer/laptop directly on the modem and see if the modem cuts the net mid use and then you'll find out if its the modem causing the issues.

That's just plain out wrong.
The modem doesn't have it's own web-admin page.

So it dropped again even though I changed the channels, and as always it didnt come back on until I restarted the router (The 5Ghz was still broadcasting... again)

Today I also got a DNS error and couldnt connect to webpages, but I could still connect to steam and crap. Upon resetting the router that sorted itself out.

I doubt theres any more help you guys could supply :(

if its a modem+router device that your isp gave you it does.

My modem and router are separate

if its a modem+router device that your isp gave you it does.
Then the admin panel is still primarily for the router part.
