Author Topic: TF2 Replay Help  (Read 1582 times)

Well I got an in-game replay, edited it into a clip, but TF2 crashed when I tried to render it into web resolution. I brought TF2 back up, and tried to render it into a regular .mov file. It rendered, but the screen was black during the whole process. I decided to upload it to youtube to see if it would play, and it didn't. What am I doing wrong?

If the game crashes while rendering, the file is now corrupt and will not work, just delete it

You have to find a certain setting your computer can handle, my Vista computer can't render 1920x1080 max quality replays, so i have to do the 720 one with medium quality

If the game crashes while rendering, the file is now corrupt and will not work, just delete it
Which file? The Movie or the clip?

The clip

If the clip is corrupted and you try to make it into a .mov, it'll be nothing but blackness

Well I deleted the corrupt clip and re edited the replay. I tried to make the new clip into a .mov and tf2 crashed again. :c

Just keep messing with the resolution and render quality, you'll find something that works eventually
