I'm afraid of downloading a lot of games

I'm afraid of downloading too many games. I'm afraid that my laptop might slow down. (It's a 3 star proccessor. Kinda like a fair  speed computer)

Terraria

but I'm afraid of downloading more. Will it slow my computer down?
