Team Fortess 2 crash

I need some help, Every time I try to play a game it loads really long and sends me back to menu and if it loads I can just play for a while but when I win/loose Tf2 freezes and crashes.
Help?

Check your steam/steamApps/-name-/team fortress 2/tf/models. I'm having a similar problem where the c_items folder is missing so I can't enter a game without crashing.

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game cache? If you right click TF2 in your steam library it should be an option somewhere.

This typically works for any steam game I cannot start.
Right-click said game, Properties, Local Game Files, Verify Integrity of Game Cache or similar
