It doesn't as much matter how skilled you are as it does how much you get into it. I have to turn my sensitivity way down for Audiosurf because otherwise I bounce off the walls.

I've found it to work. After I played a lot of TTT, I was able to have much more control when doing 1v1.

Meditation, and stop playing the games.

Heroin.

I'm pretty sure these drugs get you all forgeted up and make you the complete opposite of calm.

Punch a pillow or your sofa. Or scream into a pillow.

If it's permitted by your household you might need to be one of those shouting, jumping gamer types. Channel your energy through that and perhaps you won't have it built up to where you can't keep your hand steady. Just try not to throw your controller through the screen or anything.

Breathing helps, maybe your blood sugar is low?

Step 1: Take hot shower.
Step 2: Prepare cup of chamomile tea.
Step 3: Drink aforementioned cup of chamomile tea.
Step 4: Don comfortable pajamas.
Step 5: Take nap.
Step 6: Wake up.
Step 7. Kick ass at FPS because you could at this point stay calm during a nuclear holocaust.

When I play FPS games on my Xbox, I sometimes try to aim but most of the time I keep missing and die because I'm getting so excited and my hands are getting shaky. Is there anyway to prevent or stop this from happening?

That's adrenaline, once you start shaking it's because you've passed your tolerance and can't handle the rush of energy anymore.
I'm fairly certain that's it, at least

I thought you might've been trying to deal with some serious issue in your life and you needed help chilling out.

All I can say is that you have some kind of spaz disorder and should avoid playing local multiplayer games.
