Was thinking of doing this for Android earlier, but Badspot would probably revoke the key of anyone meddling enough with the auth system to do this.

After what I heard it was going to be a Pidgin plugin, which means that he pretty much has to release the source under an open-source license for legal reasons. That means it could be ported.
