Author Topic: Badspot should sign up for Better Business Bureau  (Read 1054 times)

When you visit blockland.us, it doesn't look like the most advanced site out there. When I bought Blockland I actually had an idea in my head that it could have been a scam or that the purchasing method was buggy. Badspot should try and sign up Blockland for the BBB (Better Business Bureau). He can post the image that they give people on the site so that when new users think about buying the game, they will not have any second thoughts that this could be a scam and that Blockland truly is a really good game.

-CONCLUSION-

My main suggestion is for Badspot to add a counter of how many people have bought the game and who are still buying it and post it on the website, or to sign up Blockland for the BBB. (I have read their terms and regulations, Blockland would qualify)

A counter that automatically refreshes, and doesn't require refreshing the entire page.

I was thinking about the one that Minecraft uses. And I actually may not want this to happen if SOPA gets passed. They will probably check all the sites on BBB. But if it doesnt get passed then I hope badspot takes this into consideration

The site looks toally legitimate to me.

If the whole purpose of this is a counter for how many people have purchased the game, then we already know this from BL_IDs don't we?

No, because a lot of BL_IDs have skipped, like 2-99. No player ever got any lower than 100. and many numbers like 2222 and 1337 were skipped, for some reason. or that is what i have heard.

I assume it prevents people from going, "UMG 1337 BLID U SO CULE!!!11!!" every time that person joins a server.

@Corbiere Only the people who have purchased the game will know how many people bought it, I am talking about NEW users who want to buy the game. Some people may find that blockland looks legit (and is) but there are some people who are very scared of Internet Fraud and scam, the BBB badge (for those people) would get rid of the feeling to be scared.

Blockland LLC currently has an F rating with the BBB because Badspot apparently didn't respond to a question from them.
