5,000 bricks wtf

It's not some elitist clan

Should be 1,000. 5,000 is too large for a clan application. Now, a clan Project, that's different.

This exactly.

EDIT: This build (by me and some of my friends) hasn't even hit 5,000 bricks yet.

If you expect something larger than this for a clan app, that's pretty heavy.

Hot damn...

Just build a 3 stud width wall and spam the inside wall with 1x1f's. That will get it up to 5000 quickly.

There is nothing wrong with the amount of bricks needed. Everyone in the clan that built something to apply had well over 5,000. Its because we used small details to enhance it. If you can not deal with the amount of bricks needed then you can just go on your merry way because it is not changing.

Also to mention the fact that we like to encourage people to make something different than most Blockland builds also adds onto the fact.

I just finished making a build that has 106,000 bricks. Not to mention all by myself. It is not that hard to pass the 5,000 minimum limit.

It's not hard to pass the limit but you also have to account for reasonable amounts of time spent on it. Not everyone builds at the same pace nor at the same level of detail. It also forces possible applicators to rethink how dedicated they want to be, but that may not be a bad thing.

Okay have fun with that.

That is basically the point of it. We would like dedicated builders, and the 5,000 helps people practice I believe.
