Author Topic: USB Gamepad compatability (Powerpad ps1 USB controller)  (Read 2424 times)

Hello there I have an Idea that would be pretty cool although it would not work and there would be alot of arguments I'm thinking of controls for the USB Powerpad digital controller and brown townog controller first Digital  :nes: Dpad for movement L1 and R1 for cameras 4 2 times for chat L2 and R2 for brick movement 3 for blocks 2 for admin orb 1 for admin orb land here is a picture of the buttons if you do not understand the controller it's a USB PS1 controller without thumbsticks and theese buttons. Now for an brown townog version Left stick movement Right stick camera and the same controls accept 4 is chat and Dpad for moving bricks.

Or you can find some software online to enable your joystick to use your keyboard.

JoyToKey

This has been suggested so many times, and the answer is always the same.

Blockland has an extreme amount of functions that no controller, gamepad, or anything like that would handle. It's designed for use with the keyboard.

Download Xpadder

These two options do not give you movement sensitivity.
You might as well be using a D-Pad if you pick one of these two.

Xpadder has mouse sensitivity options for things set to control mouse.

Issue is mainly that controlling your player and doing everything is really wonky if you've ever tried it, you have to have one stick control yaw/pitch and one control movement.

Another thing that's somewhat relevant, people using a mouse+keyboard on a mouse+keyboard-intended game have a significant advantage over people using a gamepad in a mouse+keyboard-intended game.

Motioninjoy(i think it supports PS1 Controlers)

Doesn't work right.

I don't mean for the mouse. I mean for movement. There's no point in using the left stick if you're still stuck with 8 directional movement. 360 degree movement is one of the only advantages with a controller.

Will Xpadder work on mac? if not I cannot use it!
