it depends on the individual
I just need help with the first question really.
Can ethos, pathos, and logos be twisted? Is it possible that all of these techniques couldnever sway an individual to change their mind? Which persuasive technique has thegreatest impact when it comes to changing your mind? Explain your answer usingcomplete sentences and support.
Ethos, pathos, and logos are finite descriptions of approaches to an argument. They can't be twisted, per se, as they're by definition abstract nouns and therefor bear no material representation for which to twist. They can, however, be construed in a variety of ways, and none of these approaches guarantee a result. For example: If your opponent was deaf, dumb, and blind, they might not be able to receive your message by any of these three approaches. Your opponent might also be my dad, who refuses to let go of his wrong opinions no matter how often I tell him how it really is. Logos probably has the greatest impact in changing my own mind, because I'm pretty much an emotionless shell of a human being who has willingly given up their independence to be a part of the great machine.
what the hell do you mean by twisted

basically "what is bias."
How can facts be colored by the personalities of the people who present them?
If a black man were to be faced with an argument against the finger-lickin'-good flavor of Kentucky Fried Chicken, he would naturally try to argue for its authenticity. If presented with facts that suggest KFC's flavor is attributed to artificial flavors, and not herbs and spices sacred to African-American culture, the man would 'color' the facts and present them in a way that plays down or possibly even outright ignores their substantial claims. No doubt the black man would buy KFC on the way home to feed his family (that is, if he hasn't left them and dodged child support) after stealing watermelon's from a hardworking white man's farm.
