Neither is having 1 man flip a 3500 lb jeep with his bare hands.

I'm pretty sure he means without having to get out of the car and back in. This could actually save you some time, especially if the vehicle is slightly stuck in some interior, terrain, or brick.

seriously, in a race, going out and flipping the car takes up too much time.
some cars can't be flipped because they just work like that.
and in some cars, like the Mini Sports Car and most Speedkarts, it's hard not to tip over. and those small cars are usually the ones that are nearly impossible to flip.
