I know that's not what you're looking for, but it's as close as you'll get.
I ran into it on a few servers a while back.
Maybe it got crap-oned. *shrug*

it doesn't exist, i guarantee

would require an outside program
port was trying to do this a few days ago
he said he couldn't find any good python libraries for text2speech though
speakonia maybe

DO WANT.

I hope to see people saying AEIOU and JOHN MADDEN all the time, no really I want this.

but seriously I do support, but it would need to have some setting to enable or disable it incase you don't want random people shouting "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUU" all the time

there isnt really a way for this to be server sided

i'm downvoting this
I don't want to have dumbforgets coming on my server just to screech "JOHN MADDEN FOOTBALL" 24/7 instead of actually doing anything, and bitching when I disable it
This is when you issue bans

I have ideas for this.

  • Players can choose their Blockhead's voice, so when they say something, their Blockhead and other players will hear it in the voice.
  • It would work like when bricks, projectiles, etc. produce sound. The closer you are, the louder. If you're far enough away, it won't be heard at all.

To add on to this, I think programming speech like OS's voice bots would work just fine. In example: Apple's Victoria or Microsoft's Sam.
