Gajin, to a degree I like where you're coming from, but there still are certain societal structures that I don't enjoy.

Gajin, you also have to realize that some of us live in areas where we are, simply stated, one of the 'smart ones'. I live in Hollywood, where every other kid is a weed-smoking skateboarder who produces stuffty hip-hop. Either that, or a depressed angsty teenager who cuts themselves for no logical reason.

Like I have said before, in most schools it's shameful to be smart these days as all the cool kids aren't. Our generation doesn't suck, it's just taking a big wrong turn.

There's no point in trying to compare yourself to "our generation". Technically it's impossible to not be a part of the generation. And don't think you're smarter than everyone because you don't smoke weed/don't watch Jersey Shore/don't type like you're drunk/aren't loud and obnoxious, because everywhere there are tons of people who aren't like "this stupid generation". If people are stupid, screw them.

As for the social networking thing, I don't use Facebook, but that's not because I'm above it or anything, I just... don't. That and I don't want to take tons of pictures of myself to plaster on the internet.
