Author Topic: very old situation on Steam  (Read 553 times)

a year or two ago my account was hacked and i lost $100+ worth of games.
it really sucks as my family has no extra money for anything but music stuff for me (thats perfectly fine with me as i don't play anything but Minecraft and i already have it), and my dad never wanted to buy me more games for Steam as $100 of that was from a friend for my birthday (Valve collection or Half Life collection, idk), and my dad spent about 50 bucks on other stuff.

so basically i'm just telling that to you guys since i never really gave a forget up until now, as i miss playing Dark RP daily on Gmod. i'm not really asking for Gmod but it'd be nice to have it

also i tried everything i could to get my account back but the problem was that whoever hacked my account was stupid and either Steam detected it wasnt me or the person/people used cheats on my games. the account is permanently VAC banned.

Travel to steam hq and demand your steam account be returned. You can threaten them with a pencil sharpener if need be.

if you have a paypal receipt or even a CD key you activated on your account you can get it back and unbanned (probably won't happen, they didn't unban mine)

More like how stupid OP is, nice job falling for a phishing scam.

Nope, no chance to get your games back, have to buy them again!

Makes perfect sense!

phishing scam =/= being offline for a week
you are officially a forgethead.

Going offline for a week doesn't help after you just entered all your info at steam-power.com, you have to actually change your password.

i gaurentee you i did no such thing. i know about 5 or 6 of my friends did that so i avoided. i never go on the actual Steam website anyway.
