Steam "game" download restart!?!

No & no. Internet is great, can load up, like, %99 pages in less than a second. Computer is a CUSTOM using lots of very good parts. So I'm going to have to disagree.

Then try again later. Since the public release of SFM the servers have almost certainly been overloaded with download requests.

Oh god, you people and your horrible internet connections. Portal 2 only took me a night, and when I started downloading SFM, it was at 23% within an hour. I recommend you leave your computer on while it downloads.

there's no problem if it only happens once

if a problem is only a problem at one point and never persists again then it's not really worth your time

you have not indicated a persistent issue
