What are your thoughts on roleplays in blockland?

why are you mentioning bluzone so much?

Probably something to do with the fact this is a thread about roleplay servers in Blockland?
Also,

bluzone is full of badmins ;-; i never could stay there for more than 1 second before everyone goes apestuff
(so i presume it SUCKS as well)

Although I do want to throw this in;

Blockland is perfect for roleplays. You can design your own cities, atmospheres, environments and stories. The only downfall is the community. While I'm not saying that everyone is horrible, because that's not true, it's just that there are a lot of children who play Blockland, who aren't really interested in a serious roleplay and prefer CityRP, FamilyRP or similiar. I'm not saying those two types of roleplays are bad, I've had a lot of fun in both, but RP just has a habit of drawing a bad audience. This is much the same with some of the people who play TDMs and DMs in Blockland- you're always going to draw those gun-roostery-tea-bagging-high-pitched-screaming-cunt-monglers.

A good roleplay server requires harsh moderation, unfortunately.

No, you only think that because you're a moron.
Bluzone is a strict server so we need to keep it high-quality and not have idiots running around.

Another thing I'll add is that the Bluzone is certainly not what it used to be.

Depending on your perspective, it has either gotten better or gotten worse. I know as an example it's outgrown IcyGamma, a previous admin at the server.

In my honest opinion, it was much better when it was smaller. It was less of a project and more of a place for a few people to play around in.

That was a long, long time ago though.

roleplaying can be really fun. like, way too much for a little night fox to handle
but, too often now, nobody on blockland seems to know how to run a good roleplay. and I hate it. but there are occasionally a good couple of servers. but I never seem to be around ;~;
hopefully I will change that! soon

Many people don't like Bluzone's content and free structure.

Bluzone looks like the only RP server which would be interesting to me.

I had a random RP in a city build server before though.
It was nice, it got me to stay some longer. :)

Like I said, my roleplay is decent. Even if its serious, its fun with friends.
But it does add a lot of un-realistic elements so thats why I mostly host private roleplays, nobody would get the backstory.
