I Think Bluzone meets everything on that list...?
Some better than others, though.

 :cookieMonster:
why are you mentioning bluzone so much?

OT:
all role plays suck, they always end up in a stuffstorm or they become to big for admins to handle

Obviously haven't been to Bluzone. ;)

Thats why its being mentioned so much. You have to go to established servers designed for roleplay. Apparently you aren't entirely familiar with those, would be worth looking into.

CityRPGs are good for developing cool, community built, functional cities. It involves development, proportion, and qaulity.

Most all CityRPGs don't meet these standards, so fml.

I'll be hosting one again though; new city and stuff. Maybe I can finish up the mayor mod for some political roleplay...

Yuki's City RP did

it was loving awesome.  the jailing system was cool as stuff, when you committed a crime, the police would chase you down, have to taze then handcuff you, then you'd be brought before a judge and tried.

twas cool as balls

bluzone is full of badmins ;-; i never could stay there for more than 1 second before everyone goes apestuff
(so i presume it SUCKS as well)

OT:
nvm, some city role plays don't suck, and belong in my MEH-OLOGY book for unique

No no, its a misunderstanding. The admins tend to kick people immediately who don't follow the rules that appear on spawn. A lot of people would complain about random bans, when it was the result of them using ridiculous names or breaking rules that had been spammed on their screen times over.

Unfortunately, thats what you have to do if you want good roleplay. Harsh but really is fair. :c

Not joining.
last time i joined, rave or some admin said "its ok if i ban him?"

OT:
i note theres a lack of a animal crossing like-rp, like 4 players living in a single interacting with ai's and doing jobs, and collecting

actually, it would be cool, like you and 3 other friends know this password, and you can all help eachother in jobs, while not worrying a moron would join

bro what

i'm not an admin on bluzone

i barely even play the bluzone, i'm in the middle of finals week

they wanted to ban you because of your stuff reputation

The best role plays today are city RPGs and hell sometimes they're horrible.

The best RPs IMO are pretty much what Sheath and RedGajin said.  However, I'd say the advantage to NOT having the same players every time as a determined group is you get the elements of the same personality every time, but however with this community, real, dedicated RP-ers are very hard to come by.  There are varieties of people coming in, but most of them see the vast stuffty RP community, rather than a good RP.  In this case, getting a small, dedicated group is really the only plausible action.

Besides that, starting topics on this forum is a good idea.  For example: EgyptQuest, even though not easy to moderate, was rather popular and got around 30 people on a server at once.  It was more of a puzzle, but it had the elements of an RP and had teamwork.

TL;DR I mostly agreed with Sheath and RedGajin.

Gunner's RPs were the only remotely good ones. Blockland just isn't built for roleplay.

Naw.  Blockland's community isn't quite right, tbh.
Also Flyman had some good RPs like 2 years ago.  No one here would probably remember them.

I thought only Gunny hosted RP's :u
I could be wrong, I just remember I was admin on Gunny's fallout rp and helped him make the whole VCE system for it and stuff.
